Iran threatens to punish the country which has sent Israeli drone to Iran
“The country which had sent the Israeli unmanned aircraft will receive a corresponding answer,” told Mansur Haghighatpur, vice chairman of the Majlis Committee on National Security, to Iranian Ghafghaz.ir.
Recently the Iranian Armed forces had shot down an Israeli unmanned aircraft in Natanzi region. After shooting the drone down Seyyed Masud Jazayer the deputy head of Iranian AF had stated that the unmanned aircraft had entered Iran’s territory from one of the post-Soviet countries located in the South of Iran.
Vice chairman of the Majlis Committee on National Security had touched upon the Israeli unmanned aircraft and has noted, “The country which had allowed itself to break the air space of Iran by the Israeli unmanned aircraft will pay a compensation to our country. We have turned to IRI AF head in order to find out the country which had allowed the unmanned aircraft to cross the air border, and to submit that country to political sanctions. That country should wait for corresponding steps from Iran side.”
According to Tabnak.ir writes, “Two years before this incident the military experts were noting that the unmanned aircraft Hermes 450 which Israel had given to Azerbaijan was aimed at conducting intelligence on the Iranian-Azerbaijani border.”
