U.S. absolutely supports Vorotan Cascade deal – Ambassador
The Vorotan Hydro Cascade deal is at the stage of negotiations, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern told a briefing on Thursday, adding that the negotiations are between the Armenian government and the private company.
“We are absolutely supportive and hopeful that the deal will be finalized successfully,” the Ambassador stressed.
The Armenian government, Vorotan Cascade of Hydroelectric Power Plants CJSC and CG Solutions Global Holding Company LLC signed an estate sale and purchase agreement on January 29, 2014.
