New charge brought against Armenian benefactor
A new charge was brought against renowned businessman and benefactor Levon Hayrapetyan by Moscow Municipal Court on Friday, RIA Novosti reported.
Today the court examined the extension of his arrest term.
The investigator charged him with embezzlement of $700,000 from the mother of former senator from Bashkiria Igor Izmestyev.
On July 24, the Investigation Committee of Russia brought charges against Levon Hayrapetyan for embezzlement (Article 160) and money laundering (Article 174).
