ANC member on constitutional reforms
The authorities have initiated constitutional amendments, but in reality they attempt to introduce an absolutely new Constitution, head of Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary faction Levon Zurabyan said at the forum ‘Constitutional Reforms in the Republic of Armenia: Pros and Cons’ organized by Heritage Party.
“The question is whether Armenia needs such reforms,” said the politician, adding that the initiators make an attempt to change the form of government under the guise of constitutional amendments.
“With all my respect for ARF Dashnaktsutyun, I think that only the willingness of that party is not sufficient to implement the reforms which no one wants, even RPA,” Zurabyan said.
