Ukraine is contented with the level of its military cooperation with the United States and other countries, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said, according to RIA Novosti.

"We are very grateful not only for the US efforts, but for such support from a number of our partners in France," Klimkin said on Monday, regarding the Washington's decision to provide Kiev with non-lethal weapons.

"We are talking about military technical cooperation. It's important to train some military forces to get them able to defend Ukraine of course, but it's not just the point of getting lethal or not lethal, it is about getting the full spectrum of military technical cooperation," Klimkin explained.

Last week Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko visited the United States, where he asked for weapons shipments.

After that, the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee has passed the Ukraine Freedom Support Act, allocating $350 million in fiscal year 2015 on military assistance to Ukraine, including anti-tank and anti-armor weapons and tactical troop-operated surveillance drones. The Act also designates Ukraine as the US major Non-NATO ally.

However, this bill has not been adopted yet.
