Nalbandian, Zarif discuss Iran’s nuclear program
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif on Tuesday in New York, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Iran highly appreciated the friendly relations between the two neighboring countries and highlighted the significance of implementing joint projects and expanding cooperation.
They spoke about the upcoming mutual visits as well as preparations for the 12th session of the Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Committee that will be held in Tehran.
Ministers Nalbandian and Zarif also discussed the negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program as well as exchanged views on regional and international issues.
