Construction of new power unit for ANPP discussed at IAEA meeting
The 58th Regular Session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Conference is being held in Vienna, between 22 and 26 September.
A delegation led by Armenian Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Areg Galstyan participated in the Conference, the Ministry’s press service reports.
Areg Galstyan addressed the General Conference on September 23. He touched upon the long-term and effective cooperation between the IAEA and Armenia, mentioned the measures aimed at raising the safety level of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant’s unit as well as spoke about the construction of a new power unit in Armenia and joint projects with the IAEA.
