Government to exempt border villages’ business entities from taxes
Business entities operating in Armenia’s border villages will be exempted from taxes. The decision was made at a cabinet meeting on Thursday.
The aim of the initiative is to boost business activities in the country’s border communities.
Deputy Finance Minister Vakhtang Mirumyan told reporters following the cabinet meeting that in Armenia’s border villages, business entities will be exempted from VAT, profit tax and income tax.
The government will allocate about AMD 2bn for the project’s implementation.
