Armenian opposition factions to launch signature campaign against Law on Turnover Tax
The non-government factions of Armenian parliament plan to start a signature campaign against the Law on Turnover Tax that will take effect on October 1, 2014, secretary of Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary faction Aram Manukyan told Panorama.am.
The signature campaign will call for the discussion of the law at a special session of parliament.
Traders gathered outside the National Assembly today to protest the Law on Turnover Tax. They staged a protest near the government building last week. Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received a group of protesters.
