Greek President: Armenian-Greek relations are developing dynamically
The President of Greece says that the relations between Greece and Armenia are developing dynamically and his visit to Armenia is a reflection of his intention to further develop and strengthen these ties.
Addressing the Armenian-Greek business forum that opened in Yerevan on Tuesday, Karolos Papoulias said that he highly appreciates cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economy, culture, education, science, defense, as well as partnership within international organizations.
At the same time, the Greek leader said that Greece supports the strengthening of relations between Armenia and the European Union.
“Today’s forum is one more step towards development of bilateral relations in all areas,” Mr Papoulias stressed.
Speaking about economic relations between Armenia and Greece, the Greek President noted that the economic ties still need to be developed to reach the excellent level of political relations.
