Yerevan to host International Conference on Armenian Studies
The National Academy of Sciences of Armenia will host an International Conference on Armenian Studies. The conference will open on October 3. The event is dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the foundation of the Society for Armenian Studies (SAS), a source in SAS told Panorama.am.
The three-day conference will be attended by a total of 40 Armenian and foreign scholars from leading Armenian studies centers, scientific and educational institutions and universities of the United States, Europe and Armenia.
The conference has been initiated by the Society for Armenian Studies, in association with the National Academy of Sciences, and in cooperation with the Armenian Communities Department of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
