Minister: Armenia interested in implementing reforms in justice system
The Armenian government is interested in the implementation of reforms in the field of justice, Armenian Justice Minister Hovhannes Manukyan said at the launching event of a joint project of the European Union and the Council of Europe, titled “Strengthening the Independence, Professionalism and Accountability of the Justice System in Armenia.”
“I assure you that the Armenian government and the Ministry of Justice are interested in the implementation of reforms in this field,” Mr Manukyan said.
The official stressed the importance of the joint project of the European Union and the Council of Europe and attached importance to dialogue and cooperation with civil society. He noted that the most important decisions will be carried out through cooperation with the partners from the public sector.
“We will do everything to ensure an effective implementation of the project,” Hovhannes Manukyan said.
