Hraparak: Armen Gevorgyan to be appointed NSC secretary
Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan continues working and met with his Chinese partners yesterday, Hraparak writes, adding that, nevertheless, rumors say he is going to resign.
Former Agriculture Minister David Lokyan is said to be the most likely candidate to replace Gevorgyan, the newspaper says, noting that Lokyan has close ties with Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and his son is an advisor to the PM. Sources in the government do not rule out that Gevorgyan will be appointed secretary of the National Security Council.
