Government delays requirement for inventory of goods for SMEs
At a cabinet meeting on Thursday, the Armenian Finance Ministry presented the bill on amendments to the Law on Turnover Tax, extending the deadline for the inventory of goods for small and medium-sized businesses from October 1, 2014 to February 1, 2015.
Deputy Finance Minister Armen Alaverdyan noted that the decision does not apply to those goods which taxpayers will have registered by February 1, 2015.
Recently, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses have staged many protests demanding to revoke the amendments to the turnover tax law.
