Expert: Prosperous Armenia leader aspires to leadership
The Armenian opposition has no agenda at all, political analyst Alexander Iskandaryan told a press conference on Monday.
According to the expert, at the October 10 rally, the opposition did not speak about Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. The opposition’s calls for regime change are nothing new, he stressed.
Iskandaryan said that the three non-government parties cannot unite ideologically and technically and the agendas they presented were so much different that it became evident. “And lastly, they did not say anything concrete to the people.”
The analyst stressed that one thing was clear – Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan aspires to leadership role. The expert, who was present at the October 10 rally, said that most of the people attending the rally were brought by Prosperous Armenia Party.
