EEU development depends on numerous factors – analyst
The further development of the Eurasian Economic Union depends on many factors, including Russia’s relations with the West and the Ukrainian crisis, political analyst Alexander Iskandaryan told reporters on Monday.
Commenting on the NKR Prime Minister’s statement that Armenia’s membership in the EEU was not unequivocally accepted by the Karabakh population and asked what developments can be expected in this sense, the analyst said that the possible establishment of a customs border between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed by press only and was not written anywhere else, it was rather a subject of a domestic political dispute and, understandably, it went beyond the borders of Armenia.
The expert expressed conviction that Armenia will maintain its relations with the European Union.
