Armenian Energy Minister to attend World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris
A delegation of the Armenian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources led by Minister Yervand Zakharyan is in France to attend the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 2014 in the French capital Paris, on October 14-16, the Ministry’s press service reported.
The Armenian delegation will meet with the Russian delegation on the sidelines of the event. The opportunities for cooperation in prolonging the operation time of the energy unit of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) will be discussed with Director-General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Sergey Kiriyenko. The project of building a new energy unit for the ANPP will also be discussed.
