Armenian soldier injured by enemy fire
On Monday, an Armenian soldier, Hovhannes Tadevosyan, 19, was injured to his knee as Azerbaijani forces fired shots in the direction of a frontline position of a military unit in the southern section of Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry reports.
The ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani forces have quadrupled in the recent days, the Ministry says. It calls on Azerbaijan to refrain from actions that could escalate the situation and to take measures to stabilize the situation at the Line of Contact.
In case of further escalation of the situation at the Line of Contact, the NKR Defense Army will take all necessary measures to silence the enemy.
