Demoyan: Negotiations underway to organize Armenian Genocide expositions in Turkey
Negotiations are underway to display at least two of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) expositions in Turkey, said AGMI director Hayk Demoyan, who is also the secretary of the State Commission in charge of Coordinating the Events Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
According to him, in 2015 AGMI will present 22 temporary expositions in a number of countries. Also, their specialists have made catalogues in many languages.
“We give these expositions to all interested organizations and individuals free of charge. This is our policy,” Demoyan said.
He said that they have already reached an agreement with ten European capitals.
The presentation of Hayk Demoyan’s new book titled “Armenian Genocide: Frontpage Coverage in the World Press’’ took place at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) today.
As regards the preparations for opening a new permanent exposition in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Demoyan said that it will be an unprecedented one.
