Armenian Prime Minister begins visit to Iran
An Armenian delegation led by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has left for Iran, IRNA reported.
Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri received the Armenian PM at the Saadabad Palace Monday morning.
The Armenian delegation includes the Ministers of Energy and Natural Resources, Nature Protection, Culture and Diaspora.
The Armenian Prime Minister will hold a meeting with the First Vice President to pave the ground for further enhancement of cooperation.
Iran and Armenia have taken major strides towards widening and deepening of their relations in recent years, particularly in the economic sector.
