Armenia has made progress in the political, social and economic fields over the past four years, outgoing French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud said at a meeting with reporters on Wednesday.

Mr Reynaud noted that despite the international situation, Armenia also recorded progress in the area of economy. This does not mean that there are no problems in Armenia, he said, adding that any country has problems.

Many things have changed in Armenia in the last four years and the country has come closer to Europe in many aspects, said the French Ambassador.

As regards the concept of constitutional reforms, the envoy said that each country should itself choose the government system which suits it best and should not follow the experience of other countries in this matter.
