Henri Reynaud: Presidential meeting will give new impetus to Karabakh settlement
The Armenian-Azerbaijani presidential meeting to be held on the initiative of French President Francois Hollande in Paris aims to give a new impetus to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, outgoing French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud told reporters on Wednesday.
The second aim of the meeting is to help the sides create an atmosphere of confidence, which may change the situation at the Line of Contact or the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, Mr Reynaud said.
The French envoy stressed that peace talks are the only way to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
