Armenia’s future is promising – Ambassador
Armenia underscored its willingness to continue cooperation with the European Union after joining the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud told reporters in Yerevan.
“Armenia's intention to continue collaboration with the European Union was reflected in the joint statement adopted at the Vilnius summit last year,” the Ambassador said.
As regards the position of France, it was reflected in the statement of President Francois Hollande during his visit to Armenia, the envoy said.
“The European Union should understand that Armenia lives in unique conditions and needs to get involved in a process leading to integration to the European Union,” Hollande said in Yerevan.
According to Henri Reynaud, the EU’s task is to maintain close relations with Armenia.
“I think Armenia's future is promising,” he noted.
