Anna Turcotte-Astvatsaturyan refutes disinformation of Azerbaijani media concerning provocation in University of Amsterdam
Anne Turcotte-Astvatsaturyan, the author of the book "Nowhere: The Story of exile" which tells about the Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan in the Karabakh conflict, has denied the information dissimiated by the Azerbaijani news agency "APA" saying that during the presentation of her book held at the University of Amsterdam the Azerbaijani side had posed her provocative questions.
"The message of the Azerbaijani news agency is an excellent example of a lie which is being spread by the government of this country," wrote Anna Turcotte-Astvatsaturyan on her Facebook page.
She also noted that there is a video of the event, where you can see only the Azerbaijani government lackeys with blunt looks leaving the room without asking a single question.
"Because there is nothing to ask when you are confronted with the truth," noted Anna Turcotte-Astvatsaturyan.
In early September in Yerevan presentation of the book published in the United States by Anne Turcotte-Astvatsaturyan was held. The book is titled "Nowhere: The Story of exile". It is telling about refugees from Azerbaijan in the Karabakh conflict. The book includes the author's recollections of her diary, which describes the facts of the persecution and murder of the Armenians living in Azerbaijan in 1988-1992.
