EEU accession’s impact on 2015 budget
The 2015 budget will have a focus on the effective implementation of steps as part of Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said during the discussion of the 2015 budget at the National Assembly.
Deputy Finance Minister Pavel Safaryan noted in response to a question of RPA faction member Khosrov Harutyunyan, “I assure you that specialists work intensely to assess the impacts of this membership on the budget. There are general assessments which are being specified by calculations and will be presented to you no later than in one month.”
According to the Deputy Minister, they already have an interim result – the accession to the EEU will boost the growth of macroeconomic GDP.
