Expert notes progress at Paris talks
Political analyst Sergey Minasyan says that unlike the August and September meetings, the trilateral meeting of Armenian, French and Azerbaijani Presidents held in Paris on Monday made progress regarding creation of mechanisms of confidence and de-escalation of tensions at the Line of Contact.
According to the expert, at the level of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian as well as according to the information released by the presidential press service, the Armenian side spoke more clearly about creation of mechanisms of confidence and de-escalation of tensions at the Line of Contact.
“But I cannot say whether Azerbaijan will keep the agreement reached on this matter,” the analyst added.
