Doing Business 2015: Armenia makes progress in taxation index
At a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan commented on the World Bank Group’s Doing Business 2015 rankings, according to which Armenia moved four positions up – from 49th to 45th.
According to premier, Armenia made considerable progress in taxation index, moving 32 positions up. In his words, the introduction and use of an electronic payment system has played a great role in that.
Mr Abrahamyan instructed cabinet members to continue monitoring in their domains and take measures towards their improvement.
