Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan issued the following statement on Wednesday:

“We confirm the recent media reports that Armenia’s relevant bodies obtained additional information about Hakob Injighulyan’s captivity, inhuman treatment and gross violations of international humanitarian law and human rights.

“In particular, a video is available, which once again proves the empty nature of Azerbaijani propaganda. The video shows the violence against Injighulyan, which was used to force him to make statements that have nothing to do with reality. Also, it clarifies the identities of the Azerbaijani saboteurs who allegedly “visited their relatives’ graves.”

“The video is not made public for ethical reasons, but with an agreement of confidentiality, it can be provided to international human rights organizations and diplomatic missions.”
