Armenian women are obliged to be healthy, says doctor
More and more young people have been diagnosed with cancer in recent years, a doctor says.
At a press conference on Friday, Khachanush Hakobyan, CEO of the Armenian-American Health Center, said that it is important for women, especially those aged above 40, to visit a doctor at least once a year.
“Women should undergo complex checkups,” said the doctor. “In 4,300 cases, screenings helped to detect the disease in early stages and these patients were cured.”
“Armenian women are obliged to be healthy for the sake of their husbands and children,” Mrs Hakobyan added.
