All nine people on board killed in plane crash in Bahamas
All nine people on board of a private plane that crashed in the Bahamas Sunday were killed, the Department of Civil Aviation has confirmed, according to RIA Novosti.
The Department of Civil Aviation stated that it has been unofficially advised that there were no survivors.
A Lear 36 Executive Jet heading to Freeport, Grand Bahama island, carrying passengers for a religious conference, crashed at around 22:10 GMT while preparing for landing at the Shipyard site on Grand Bahama island. The reasons for the tragedy have not been uncovered yet. Rescue teams are working at the site.
