Ambassador: France wants Armenia and Azerbaijan to find mutually acceptable solution
The current situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict cannot last for a long time, newly appointed Ambassador of France to Armenia Jean-François Charpentier told reporters on Wednesday.
“We want Armenia and Azerbaijan to find a mutually acceptable solution as soon as possible, which will comply with the wishes of the peoples of conflicting countries,” said Mr Charpentier.
The envoy noted that this is not his position, but the position of his country.
Speaking about normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, the French Ambassador said that France will do everything to contribute to it.
