ARFD member: Azerbaijan must be punished
The downing of an Artsakh helicopter by Azerbaijani forces formed a new situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, secretary of ARFD parliamentary faction Aghvan Vardanyan said at a briefing at the National Assembly on Friday.
“With this act, Baku reduced to nothing the results of the three presidential meetings held this year and therefore Armenia should reconsider its policy,” said the politician.
According to Vardanyan, Azerbaijan consistently proves that it will continue speaking the language of provocations. “The downing of the helicopter should make us think that Azerbaijan must be punished. It is necessary to take targeted actions,” the parliamentarian noted.
