David Sanasaryan begins hunger strike near OSCE Office in Yerevan
Heritage Party spokesman David Sanasaryan has started a hunger strike outside the OSCE Office in Yerevan. The activist demands that the reasons behind the downing of Nagorno-Karabakh’s MI-24 helicopter be disclosed.
“This is not only the responsibility of the Defense Ministry. We write new statuses on Facebook and enjoy every minute thanks to our soldiers and their bravery. And what are we doing for the three soldiers whose bodies are still at the crash site?” Sanasaryan said in a Facebook post.
“The Armed Forces is the only structure in Armenia I trust implicitly. I know that they can remove the bodies from Azerbaijani fire, but they do not want to have new losses.
“And what are the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs doing? What have they done to help us return the helicopter crew peacefully? And if they have done something, it is too little.
“I express my indignation and demand to the OSCE Office in Yerevan and announce an indefinite hunger strike as long as our guys are in the wolf’s mouth.”
