Karabakh President discusses 2015 budget
Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan convened an enlarged consultation on the 2014 budgetary process and the 2015 draft state budget.
Minister of Finance and Economics Spartak Tevosyan and heads of concerned bodies delivered corresponding reports.
President Sahakyan noted in his speech that Artsakh state budget was and would be socially oriented in its nature, which requires pursuing the appropriate policy.
The President underlined that he expected from the state bodies a new quality of work in the budget planning primarily in evaluating the efficiency of expenditures, reviewing their structure and providing projects securing significant outcome for the society, adding that heads of responsible structures should prioritize the solution of key issues over the narrow and temporary solutions.
Speaker of the National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan, Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan and other officials participated in the consultation, the presidential press service reported.
