US is intended to assist Azerbaijan and Armenia in the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, said Derek Hogan, the US Charge d'Affaires in Azerbaijan at the international conference on "Oil and Gas Week 2014" in Baku, reports the Azerbaijani news agency "Trend".
As noted in the article, he stressed that the US is one of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
"We are intended to assist the parties in resolving the Nagorno Karabakh conflict peacefully. The US support the process of meetings of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Sochi and Paris. Secretary of State John Kerry’s meeting with the heads of the two countries is a proof that the United States provides full support to the parties in the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement," said Hogan.
