Hovhannes Manukyan meets with Armenian lawyers in Moscow
Armenian Justice Minister Hovhannes Manukyan met with Armenian lawyers – members of Armros association in Moscow, according to the press service of the Armenian Justice Ministry.
Hovhannes Manukyan spoke about the goals and results of his two-day working visit, and highlighted the main directions and priorities of cooperation with Russia. He also touched upon Armenia’s reforms in the judiciary.
The Minister heard the viewpoints of the Armenian lawyers about the key problems of Armenians in Russia. They briefed on the procedures of offering legal aid to Armenian citizens, in particular in issues related to marriage, family, employment, and citizenship status.
The Armenian lawyers noted that there is a need to strengthen ties with their colleagues in the homeland, find new partners, and expressed willingness to cooperate with specialists in Armenia.
Organizational matters related to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide were also discussed.
