Armenian PM instructs to limit tax audits of domestic manufacturers
The Armenian government’s task is to support business entities and domestic manufacturers in the macroeconomic aspect as well as by creating a competitive environment, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan told a cabinet meeting on Thursday.
Mr Abrahamyan said that the number of tax audits of domestic manufacturers should be limited. Audits of a business entity should be conducted only once during a calendar year because such tax audits create extra tension and problems, he said. Hovik Abrahamyan added that special permission of the Armenian Prime Minister is needed to conduct audits more than once during a calendar year, and only in exceptional cases when there are weighty facts.
