Haykakan Zhamanak: Pashinyan’s initiative on presidential impeachment failed?
Haykakan Zhamanak daily touched upon the position of Armenian parliamentary factions on the initiative of opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan proposing impeachment of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
“As of yesterday, Prosperous Armenia had not voiced its official position on the initiative. There has not been an official statement from Armenian National Congress either. Heritage faction head Ruben Hakobyan is in Saint Petersburg as part of an Armenian parliamentary delegation. Tevan Poghosyan said yesterday he is busy and will voice his position on Monday. Orinats Yerkir has announced that it is not joining the initiative,” the newspaper says.
