Russia ratifies CSTO agreement on forces control
Russia has ratified an agreement on basic principles of the creation of a system of control of the Collective Security Treaty Organization’s forces, TASS reported.
The document signed by the Russian president was published on an official information website on Tuesday.
The system of troops control is formed in the eastern European region by the Union of Russia and Belarus, in the Caucasian region on the basis of Russia-Armenia agreements and in the Central Asian region on the basis of regional agreements of the parties, the document said.
