Haykakan Zhamanak: Armenian citizens to rest from December 28 to January 12
The Saturdays of December 20 and 27 will be declared working days instead of January 8 and 9. The Armenian government will make the respective decision on December 4, Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
According to the newspaper, such a decision is due to the fact that January 6 marks the birth of Jesus Christ and the next day, January 7, is the Remembrance Day of the Dead. So, January 12 will be the first working day in 2015 and Armenian citizens will have an opportunity to rest from December 28 until January 12.
