Aravot: The model of fear
The editor-in-chief of Aravot newspaper writes: ““If we had signed the agreement with the European Union, Russia would have arranged so that we would suffer Ukraine’s fate.” I think those who say this phrase are flattering the friendly country. In reality, it is a terrible accusation against Russia. If this assumption of Russia’s “upholders” is true, then it is impossible to build friendly relations with such a country. Russia views the Eastern Partnership program as a policy aimed against it and is very angry with the countries that take an active part in it.”
