Prosperous Armenia, Orinats Yerkir are in favor of Armenia’s joining EEU
Any decision regarding Armenia’s foreign policy agenda should stem from national security priorities of Armenia and Artsakh, head of Orinats Yerkir parliamentary faction Heghine Bisharyan said in the parliament.
She said that Orinats Yerkir will vote in favor of the ratification of the treaty on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.
Prosperous Armenia faction member Tigran Urikhanyan, for his part, said that the party is for the ratification of the treaty. “Today Prosperous Armenia will vote in favor of the treaty since voting against it would damage interests of Armenia,” he said.
Urikhanyan stressed that Armenia will get economic benefits from the EEU.
