Corruption situation in Armenia is not irreversible - Hoktanyan
Armenia has not made progress in combating corruption, Executive Director of Transparency International Anti-Corruption center Varuzhan Hoktanyan told reporters on Tuesday.
“The situation has not worsened, but it is still early to speak about an improvement,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hoktanyan said that the corruption situation in Armenia is not irreversible and it is necessary to take measures to reduce corruption.
Armenia ranks 94th-99th among 175 countries in the Corruption Perceptions Index 2014 released by the Transparency International.
