Armenian government works to increase exports – Minister
The government of Armenia is working seriously to increase export amounts, Minister of Economy Karen Chshmaritian said on Thursday.
In his words, creating and expanding production volumes instead of imports would help prevent currency fluctuations.
He noted a positive shift in the country’s exports. “Formerly, the largest share of Armenia’s exports went to the CIS and EU countries, whereas now, 44 percent goes to other countries. It means the country has diversified the exports,” Chshmaritian said.
