Zhoghovurd: Dozens discharged from Convicts' Hospital
Sources told Zhoghovurd newspaper that dozens of inmates were simultaneously discharged from Convicts' Hospital penal institution. There was an instruction to clear the hospital of those convicts who, by using their links or by some other means, made an arrangement to serve their term not at penal institutions, but at the hospital.
Gor Ghlechyan, a spokesperson for the Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Department, refuted the information, saying that no one was admitted to the hospital with the help of his links. “Discharging patients is a normal working process,” he said.
