Kazakh parliament’s lower house ratifies Armenia’s EEU accession treaty
The lower house of Kazakh parliament has ratified the treaty on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Tengrinews.kz reported.
Kazakh Minister of National Economy Yerbolat Dossayev noted that Armenia’s accession will raise the image of the EEU in the eyes of the international community.
“Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union plays a great role as we cooperate with Armenia and this cooperation boosts economic development of the two countries. Thanks to Armenia’s accession, we expect a development of our legislative interests,” he said.
The treaty will be discussed by the upper house of the Kazakh parliament.
