Way out of current crisis and Russia’s economic growth inevitable — Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin told the annual news conference on Thursday that a way out of the current crisis and Russia’s economic growth were inevitable, TASS reported.
“Naturally, a rebound, subsequent growth and a way out of the current situation are inevitable. The economy will grow and will get out of the current situation. How much time will we need? I think it will take two years even if the situation unfolds to the most unfavorable scenario,” the president stressed.
Organization of real non-energy business in Russia is complicated until energy sector brings big profits, he noted.
Russian President Vladimir Putin advised the government and the Central Bank to be half a step ahead in dealing with the current economic situation in Russia. “The Central Bank and the government react adequately to the current situation, but I believe that some things, and this is what the expert society is criticizing in particular, could have been done more operatively,” Putin said at his annual news conference.
