Hraparak: No NSS officer to be granted general’s title
The National Security Officers Day will be celebrated in Armenia today, Hraparak writes. As before, this year also there will be speeches, awards, congratulations and good wishes. However, unlike the previous years, this year no National Security Service (NSS) officer will be granted general’s title. According to the newspaper, three officers - heads of departments - had been proposed for the title, but Serzh Sargsyan did not approve any of them. The NSS head is perhaps discontent with the service’s work.
