Zhoghovurd: Armavia has huge debts
Armavia airline, Armenia’s former national air carrier, was declared bankrupt one and a half month ago. Zhoghovurd newspaper saw the list of the air company’s debtees, which, to put it mildly, is impressive. The airline has debts to 122 individuals, mostly its employees, as well as to 27 companies. The US dollar debts amount to about 90 million, while the Armenian dram debts seem endless, according to the daily.
The newspaper notes that in addition, Armavia has tax obligations to the state in the amount of 31 billion 357 million drams and 2 million dollars.
