Armen Yeritsyan holds working meeting with governors
Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan on Thursday held a working consultation with regional governors, the Ministry’s press service reported.
The Minister expressed concern over the recent price hikes. He discussed with the governors the situation in the provinces and the process of stabilization of prices.
On the instruction of Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, Mr Yeritsyan told the governors to closely follow the prices on consumer markets, to prevent abuses and speculations.
The meeting also focused on the proposals of governors regarding their powers, the territorial administration system, coordination of inspections in the provinces and provision of grants to communities.
The Minister offered to crate a working group to deal with these matters.
